David was a timber buyer for Kesegami Forest Products, a subsidiary of Wacivo.  He was being blackmailed by Steve Robertson, a timber buy from Thunder Bay Lumber. When Wacivo learned that David had played a part in Robertson's disappearance, they sent former Canadian Forces soldiers to kill Coleman off. The team kept the mercenaries from killing Coleman.

Coleman now leads teams of thugs for Wacivo.
